Substantial fluorite and baryte matrix specimen from Milldam Mine at Great Hucklow, Derbyshire. The pale cream matrix carries purple fluorite crystal areas and small darker cubic pockets through the surface, giving it the classic Derbyshire Milldam look in a heavy cabinet-size piece. Milldam is an important Peak District fluorite locality and was the last Derbyshire mine worked specifically for fluorite. A good locality/display specimen for British mineral collectors.
